This latest update also brings Capture mode to the party. In this mode, the entire world is your battlefield. Here you will fight over contraband with rival teams. This mode is basically a twist on the classic “capture the flag” mode found in other online games.

Four different squads will battle it out to steal contraband, buses and more from their opponents. Capture mode is broken up into four variations, which include Contend, Hold, GTA and Raid. More information will be released about these various modes at a later date. As with Deatmatch and Race Creators Beta, Capture mode is completely free!

There are more updates to look forward to in 2014. This includes GTA Online Heists. In this mode, you will work with a friend to pull off robbery missions. Right now, the Rockstar team is still working on getting this mode up and running. Expect to hear more about it in 2014.

“Grand Theft Auto 5” Story Mode Update

For those of you who don’t like playing online, Rockstar is also bringing some new story mode update in 2014. This update will include new missions, some of which will take place in Southern San Andreas. The free update is expected to add hours worth of additional gameplay to “Grand Theft Auto 5.”
