The GTA Online mission rewards have been reduced by the latest patch for Grand Theft Auto V’s multiplayer. This patch makes it harder for you to earn GTA$. The first time you play and beat the mission you will still get the full amount, but subsequent replays will pay a reduced amount. More details are below.

GTA 5 Online Mission

GTA Payout- Now it gives you only 50% of the usual payout when you replay a GTA online mission. Their goal is to prevent you from simply accumulating cash by playing the same mission over and over again. This keeps the game balanced and encourages you to explore new missions and content in the game.

Game Changes- Rockstar gives you a financial incentive to play for a longer period of time and earn cash slowly. They know that if it is too easy to rack up currency you will not spend real money on GTA online. This update also repaired a number of bugs, including a major glitch that allowed players to sell vehicles multiple times. It has been a rough period for aspiring GTA Online millionaires.

Good News- Some encouraging news is Rockstar will be giving $500,000 of GTA$ to all active players. The first of two $250,000 payments is expected the week of October 21, 2013.
