Gamers concerned with game progress loss during Grand Theft Auto Online need no longer worry, as a new title update is available worldwide for those playing the popular video game on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The title corrects the problem of players losing their gameplay and also offers a number of other technical tweaks, fixes, and game enhancements.
What This Title Fixes
This GTA title fixes many of the glitches that were bogging down gamers, including: multiple issues resulting in character deletion, or loss of game progress. Issues causing infinite loading, infinite sky cams, and missing interface options between jobs have been eliminated. If you found your “replay” option locked out on certain jobs, or that you were stuck in the mod garage while spraying a Sanchez bike, this title solves those problems.
Other issues fixed include: problems causing the loss of a gun or ammo, various glitches causing GTA races to end early because of certain players spawning too far ahead. This update adjusts the money penalty players receive for being killed in a “One on One” matchup. A clarification has been added in this update for when a player has created a temporary character during Rockstar Cloud server outages.
A Friendly Reminder
If you are playing GTA Online, please remember to save your game frequently. If at any point during game play you receive the message “Rockstar Cloud Servers are Unavailable,” do not select “Retry” or create a temporary character.
Instead, try to exit GTA V Story Mode and attempt to re-enter GTA Online again through the menu in the story mode. Unfortunately, this title does not address the problem of players losing their game progress after purchasing a vehicle and not being able to save because of a cloud save failure. Game developers are rapidly working to correct the issue.
